Exodus 7-9

​Today’s Bible Reading: Exodus 7-9

We come down pretty hard on Pharaoh and his hardened heart.  Yet, do we ever do the same thing?  Do we ever plead with God to remove some painful suffering only to revert to our old ways when all is said and done?  Ever made a “bargain” with God when life had dealt a rough hand only to not follow through when God acted on your behalf?  Looking back, I can see where I have been guilty.  What is that saying, “The more things change the more they stay the same.”  Perhaps we are not so different after all.
