Exodus 10; Luke 13; Job 28; 1 Corinthians 14: Proverbs 27
“As in water face reflects face, so the heart of man reflects man.” -Proverbs 27:19. When I read that this morning I thought immediately of 1 Corinthians 13 again, We associate the heart with love so I guess that makes sense. So once again I find myself looking at the condition of my heart in light of this passage. I find myself reminded of some of the songs I learned long ago about Jesus coming into my heart. That being the case I should be reflecting Christ and I can only pray that I do that with more clarity each and every day I have left on this earth and this passage remains a good place to start.
1 Corinthians 13: 4-7, NASB
Love is patient,
love is kind and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant,
does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own,
is not provoked,
does not take into account a wrong suffered,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.
Grace, peace, and mercy,
