Image by veera hemanth from Pixabay Today's Reading: Genesis 37-38; 1 Chronicles 2:3-6, 8; Genesis 39 One of the things that amazes me about Joseph's story is that the LORD is always with him. Even falsely accused and thrown in prison; even there the LORD is with him and causes him to find favor and to prosper. I am not sure how one "prospers" in that situation, but that is what is recorded for us. It brings to mind this verse: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6) It is even truer for those of us who believe on Jesus Christ for we have the indwellling Holy Spirit. God truly is with us all of the time. So be strong in the LORD and be of good courage. Believe Him when He says He will never leave you or forsake you. You belong to Him. And the price God paid for you is so high beloved, that you can count on Him to carry you just like He said for you are of great value to Him. May grace abound,
